Tiago and Carol - Missionaries in Portugal

Carol gave her life to Christ at age 7 and felt called to missions from childhood. Tiago met Christ as a teenager and discovered his calling while serving in church revitalization projects in Brazil. When they met in 2006, they became partners in life and in mission. For the past 18 years (16 as a married couple), they have dedicated themselves to church planting and revitalization. Today, they serve full-time in Portugal — not by personal choice, but by God’s clear direction. They see Portugal as their greatest challenge: the fields are ready, but the workers are few. Tiago holds degrees in Theology and Missiology, with additional training in sports ministry. Carol is trained by CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) and represents Be Amazing Ministry in Portugal, discipling women. Despite financial challenges, they remain steadfast in their calling. Join the Mission The church is called to pray, send, and support missionaries. Your partnership helps Tiago and Carol plant churches, disciple leaders, and share the gospel across Portugal. “Then, after they had fasted and prayed, they laid their hands on them and sent them off.” – Acts 13:3 👉 Every gift helps advance the gospel in Portugal.

Helping Us Keep the Mission Moving Forward 🚗

Dear brothers and sisters,

Our 1996 minivan has been an essential tool in ministry here in Portugal — helping us visit families, serve local communities, and going to our job. Right now, it needs urgent repairs to keep running safely.

Repair Budget – $570

Four tires: $170
Spark plugs: $10
Oil change (engine, brakes, steering): $160
Steering pump: $90
Mechanic’s labor: $110

Would you prayerfully consider helping with this need? Any gift, large or small, will make a difference. Most of all, we ask for your prayers as we continue the mission God has entrusted to us.

“God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7

With love in Christ,
Tiago & Carol Silva
